An Excellent place to go with families, very much in the vein of Centre Parcs. We went for a long weekend from Ireland via the ferry to Pembroke, from there Bluestone was 25 mins drive which was perfect with three small kids. Staying with another family we were in adjoining houses which again made it very spacious and great for kids to run around at night and adults could put the feet up. These houses are well kitted out for in house dining if the on site food offerings don't take your fancy. On that food in the pub was really good and well priced, on site supemarket was also fairly priced with a slight premium. We didn't book activities just used the pool which was great but very tired and could do with a retrofit. In door soft play is massive and has a cafe and bar 🍺 with a high line ride which is charged at 14GBP for two runs on it, kids really enjoyed it... Buggies we hired golf buggies in advance of our stay (highly recommend) as lots of hills to navigate and long walks round the property. Location wise close to several coastal towns and we visited tenby and Saundersfoot both lovely but the former has way more to offer due to size. We would visit again for sure, but looking at summer dates online the pricing does increase exponentially.... We stayed Feb 25 , freezing cold but great fun had by all.

The village is great for little children. Plenty for little children to do and keep them entertained. My granddaughter loved the serendome with being able to play in the sand and water. We will return again during the warmer months to take advantage of more available.

Absolutely brilliant place to take the family away. We've been here for 5 years in a row and certainly, as the children have grown up, there are fewer on site activities to engage with. It's definitely geared more to the younger children but the swimming pool is fantastic and always a winner. Plus, as our children have grown up, the oldest now being 14, it's a great base to explore the beautiful Welsh coast and that's something we've found ourselves doing increasingly more of. The accommodation is great and the last time we stayed in the newer Merlin's crest lodges, which are definitely worth the extra cost. Maybe we'll look elsewhere in the future as the children have out grown the on site activities but it's a fantastic place for a family holiday.

Having originally booked for 4 nights but left before the last night. It just did not live up to expectations. Everything is run down and/over priced. Took my 17month old boy and in all honesty there's not a lot to do for under 2s. Entertainment: The hive: spacious but only a small soft play for the little ones and not enough seating for parents, which led to parents sitting on the floor! Messy play: had to pay extra but my boy enjoyed the 45 mins of it, kept him entertained. Character show: Again a good 30 mins of entertainment but have to book and pay extra. Serendome: lots of free activities in here, but needs some TLC. the younger play area there were lots of broken parts and just needs looking after. Sand play: maybe add some utensils etc and attach them so they can be used otherwise another cost to plan for. Swimming: in dire need of TLC. Lots of broken lockers and most frustratingly need a £1 to lock although they operate as a 'cashless site'. It wasn't until the last day when we learnt through another parent you could ask for a token at reception. Why wasnt this offered/asked when checking in? Eateries: NRG Cafe: we got breakfast in here every morning and out of all the eateries this was the best place, however a little pricey. I did try the Victoria sponge and it was SO dry and stale like it had been left on the side for days. Knights Tavern: standard 'pub food' and would argue it is slightly overpriced for what it is. Farmhouse Grill: not worth wasting your money in here. You would expect better quality than the tavern but it was exactly the same yet more expensive. Accommodation: We have a studio Lodge in the village. Great location as it was right by all the resturants and shops. And if requested was cleaned daily (much to my surprise). Note: I would book any/all activities on advance otherwise you risk not being able to do any as they book up quickly. If you're not a fan of walking pay the extra money and get a buggy. Would I return? Probably not although 'alright' for a one time trip.

Good for families with young kids. The facilities are great and well thought out The older lodges need updating, not enough storage. Very few coat hooks and places for dirty shoes and pushchairs. In the winter they don't really accommodate young families well, we have really struggled this time. Mattresses are too firm, not tea pot, broken cot. Lots of improvements needed. They have changed the routes so that you are not competing with buggies, however some footpaths are not tarmaced and there are lots of puddles. The main problem is the pool is urgently need updating/rebuilding. It is too small to accommodate all the additional lodges. Changing rooms and wet and dirty. Many broken lockers and showers. Lots of tiles missing in the pool. The pool is cold, the toddler pool is even colder. We have been coming for years but this will be our last until improvements are made.
